A c trailer of infinitely extensible size and period, formed from two tippy trailers which convert an anchor track left by a puffer into a sparse trail of checkers, which is one of few known methods of creating puffers of arbitrarily large period. The same reaction with only one tippy trailer is called a half anchor biter. The following is referred to as a six-slot anchor biter and is extended by inserting four more pairs of dots into the anchor track before the tippy trailer. Compare anchor eater.
